Photos from a recent adventure in getting nature all over me camping. We declared ourselves GITGO: Gamers In The Great Outdoors. =)
This was one patient woodland creature.
Not only did it sit still while I got within inches, then centimetres, then millimetres of it, but it didn’t even move when my lens brushed its wing.
Later, it allowed itself to be transported, via finger, to another flower in a lower-traffic area.
Hidden away behind the cover of trees and bushes, in an alcove o’ shaded tranquility, this teensy-weensy drop of sap hung from some description of I’m-not-sure-what-kind-of-near-invisible-material, just waiting for some guy with a camera to come along and get sap all over his lens. How perfect I should happen along at that very moment to do just that.
