The Canadian Forces Snowbirds fly over the skies of Oak Bay during the BC Day Long Weekend.
Thanks to a last-minute opportunity, I was afforded an extra-special viewing venue for this year’s Snowbirds show: the Oak Bay Beach Hotel, immediately stage right of Willows Beach — the “main stage,” if you will.
Like many others, I was treated to many close flybys one might not see being in the thick of the crowds at Willows Beach.
Hence, some non-sucky shots of some really cool flyin’.
