Survivors

I had the honour of volunteering at the CIBC Run for the Cure as the photobooth photographer inside the Survivors’ Tent — a special place for those who had survived cancer to hang before and after the run, get a cool shirt, enjoy some bubbly (pop), have their photo taken, and celebrate their strength.

This is Nadine and her dog . . . are you ready for this? . . . OREO. They were the first dog and survivor over the finish line!

And this is Erin, Randy, and Jill, coworkers who run for their moms, who are survivors.

Moments like my time at the run are always solid reminders of how good I have it. ’cause I have it reeeaaal good.
